I am having so much fun already this month!
I presented a Stress-Reducing Workshop to the spouses at the annual Pennsylvania Prosthodontic Society Conference the first week of June, at Toftrees Country Club!
Toftrees is located in State College, PA., and was a lovely setting with
a lovely group of people!
Leslie McKee, Professional Organizer, was our other speaker, and was so
much fun to listen to! I was taking notes and getting fabulous ideas for
my home and life. I know I wasn't the only one fired up!
Last week, I spent a delightful evening at Tea
at Home with Olivia,a charming antique shop in Delmont, PA.
Our workshop for women was entitled, "Reducing Stress and Looking Good." We had such a great turn-out, and such a great time, that we are offering Part 2! Miriam Olivia Thomas was a wonderful hostess, and discovering her shop was a real treat!
July 8th will be the date for Part 2. (click here for info) For those who missed Part 1, I encourage you to give Miriam Olivia a call. Note: Those who were in the first session, hurry and get signed up for Part 2! Miriam Olivia is opening it up to other people!
***We are planning another workshop in August.
NOTE:The deadline has passed to send in your stressful situation for tomorrow's interactive coaching teleclass. However, please register if you would like to attend. You could still get a lot out of this! We all share many stresses--you may find the answer to your problem!

Take the Stress Out of Eating
Tips to Take the Stress out of that whole eating thing!
Preparation is key. If you are only reacting and thinking of meals when you are hungry, you will not eat properly and you will waste calories and money!
1. Prepare your grocery list ahead of time. Keep a pad or a piece of paper on the fridge and add to it as you run out of supplies, food and otherwise. If you think of easy meal ideas, write them down.
2. Do not go to the grocery store hungry. Have a snack before, or go after a meal. You will make more sensible decisions and stay more focused on your list.
3. Plan ahead. Go grocery shopping once a week. Better yet, delegate the chore to a teenager who wants to earn money. Win, win!
4. Look for easy things to prepare:

Tortillas filled with veggies, cheese, grilled chicken or tofu, make an easy,
nutritious meal.
Fruits and vegetables are wonderful this time of year. Wash them as soon as you get home and put them in a bowl on the counter, or at eye level in your fridge.
Make a huge salad on Sunday, and have it each day for lunch.
Yogurt without too much sugar is a healthy snack, as are small containers of applesauce. (Get the kind without added sugar.)
Pack your own sandwiches and bottles of water in a cooler when you are heading to the kids' baseball games, etc. You won't need to stop for junky fast food, which is so bad for you. Added Bonus: you will save money!
Prepare, Plan Ahead, Reduce Your Stress!
