You have been working on this story for a really long time.

It's called the story of your life. Each day, you add a little bit more to your story, and many times it doesn't change; Often, you keep writing the same stuff.

This month I want to ask you...

"What kind of story have you been writing?"

What Is Your Story?

Your story began when you were a child. Your story was shaped by people, events, images, feelings, and experiences. You added to your story as you grew, with all sorts of characters and events real and imagined.

And here you are. Did you know, though, that your story can change? It's not already written, so you have the power to write any story that you want. It's your choice!

Did you know, that no matter what happened in the past, no matter what circumstances and events led you to where you are, you can change your reality?

Instead of looking back, it's time to look at the present. Not the future. The present.

How do you want today to look?

How do you want right now to play out?

The way we live the minutes of each day is how we live our lives.

How do you want to live the minutes of TODAY? What do you want to do today?

thinkingWhat kind of relationships do you want it your life right now? How do you want to run your household right now? What work do you want to be doing today?

Do you like how your life is going? If not, change it. Change the way things are going today.

It does not have to be difficult. The hardest part is making up your mind that you want a different "today."

You have to decide that a happy, healthy, fulfilling life is a priority, and that you are willing to make the effort and be persistent in your changes.

Take a look at what you have been telling yourself about the main character--you.

Do you tell yourself things like this?

I could go on and on, but I am sure you get the idea. Changes don't have to be all done at once. This is a very important idea to remember. You can start today, but with one thing at a time.

Try this:

The next time you catch yourself thinking a negative thought, STOP. Take a breath

Re-write it in your head. Turn it around, and make it a positive statement. See how it feels.

You can change your story. Just get started. Then, keep it up.
