3. But, what do you actually DO with your clients?
I “meet” with my clients 3 times a month on the telephone. (So convenient!) We have sessions that last from 30 to 45 minutes.
- During our sessions, we discuss what the client wants in his/her life and ways to go about achieving those results. We come up with action steps and the plan to take these steps. I help my clients determine which strategies will work for them.
- I help my clients get out of their own way, and get results quickly.
- I help my clients process and organize the information they need to make their plans.
- My clients want accountability, and we do this in a variety of ways. Some clients send me weekly e-mails and appreciate words of encouragement throughout the month. Other clients want to keep written logs for me to review before each session. We use the tools that suit each client best.
- I bring my knowledge, experience, education, and listening skills to each session. We continually evaluate what works and what doesn’t and review our efforts.
