From March 12th, 2010 Virtual Retreat I was not able to attend the retreat live because my son was home sick.  I really enjoyed opening my box of goodies.  I smiled and giggled the entire time, while making sure no one else in the room put his grubby little hands on my new gifts!  I wasn’t able to get to the retreat all at one time. As the days went by, it slipped from the top of my list of things to do (like laundry and dishes).  I knew I had the 15-min coaching session scheduled and that is what made me finish.                                                                                                                    I didn’t realize how long it had been since I had written from the heart.  The journal entries started slowly, but the starters helped move me along.  I was amazed at how many things I am happy and grateful for.  I was a little nervous about the coaching session, but Diana put me at ease in no time at all.  She told me things that I know intellectually, but need to hear from time to time (being a mom at home is a full time plus job).  She gave me an ACTION item and I promptly ‘acted’.  Now I plan to give myself select action items to keep my stress level down but productivity up. “I am a very busy resident with horrible eating habits, crazy schedules, and a stressful lifestyle. I knew I needed to control things, but I didn’t know how. My life is so chaotic with work, deadlines and extracurricular activities. Once my eating and exercise were under control, I used Diana’s help to organize my lifestyle. And all I have to say is, one month with Diana, and I was able to accomplish things that I would normally not even complete in 1 year. All my goals were very small ones, but at the end of each week, I would have cumulatively have accomplished so much.
