Woman recovers from Pancreatic Cancer–How cool is that?

Today, catching up on some reading after Christmas,I picked up the December 24th issue of the Penn Franklin News. An article on the front page caught my eye: “Export welcomes home cancer survivor.” I started reading the article and was stunned to see the woman had been told, in March, that she had less than two years to live because of inoperable 2nd stage pancreatic cancer. Now she has been declared Cancer-free!!! My father-in-law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 1994, and died shortly after. This woman, Yvonne Stimmel, underwent a new protocol developed by Dr. A. James Moser in which he used newly developed chemotherapy and radiation therapy to shrink the tumor. It shrunk by 99 percent and then the remaining tumor was removed. All the surrounding tissue was declared cancer free. Bravo to Dr. Moser and bravo to Yvonne, friends and the surrounding supportive community! Without the new protocol, Yvonne would not have beat it. Also, can’t help but think that without all the support and her belief that this would work, she may not have survived. How much power do our thoughts and energy have? An amazing amount of power! I am so happy for her and everyone who cares about her!
